10 Safest Destinations in the World
I believe that nowadays, we pay more attention to safety when choosing destinations to travel. With so many crazy things going on around the world, it’s hard not to worry about that. I see this even from ourselves. We have always liked to travel to alternative places and have been to some that if something happened, no one would ever hear from us again!
Yes, I know that it’s quite irresponsible. However, over time we mature and see that we have to be a little more careful! Not that we will stop going to these ‘unknown’ places or off the traditional route (nothing against that also, we love traditional destinations), but safety has become a worldwide problem!
In early April, the World Economic Forum (WEF) released the list of the safest countries in the world. The study assesses various aspects to see if the place is safe for tourism! In this, they analyze the security of the country; health and hygiene; economic situation, if the country prioritizes tourism. They also check it’s international openness, infrastructure issues, among others.
I was happy to know that today I live in the safest country in the world and that I already lived in the second one too. Unfortunately, my home country, Brazil ranks 106 out of 136 countries. It’s going through many government issues and I couldn’t expect less. How is your country ranking at the moment? You can find out here!
Seeing this, I have listed the 10 safest countries for you to put in your bucket list! From this list, I already been to 5 of them and I’ve been to other 2 airports (if that counts as a small visit LOL)!
Are any of them on your list for your next vacation? By clicking on the names, you will find more information about each place!
