DIY – Easter Wreath
I’m so happy we are just a week away from Easter! We have a big holiday here that starts on Friday and runs until Monday! Isn’t that exciting?
It’s nice to see that this rebirth feeling is not only due to the celebration. Spring has made everyone reborn from the long winter and, it seems, that finally the bright days are back! Even my bulbs began to sprout!! Have you seen the update video with the first few sprouts? They’re lovely, have a look here! We have many new ones coming out already and from now on, everything will be like this: beautiful, alive and flowery!
To start the decoration – yes, because another video is coming up – I made a beautiful Easter wreath! It was time to change our Christmas one! It’s been there since last November, so it did great! I can’t believe my first wreath was up for so long and stayed beautiful! It’s been almost 5 months! If you want to see how I made it, click here!
Most things are artificial in this wreath. The only real thing are the dried sprigs I found in the park! We still don’t have options of green leaf on the trees, only the pines. Also, I have not figured out how to keep the flowers alive for a longer period in a wreath yet hehe!
I looked up several of them and got inspired by many I found in Pinterest! One of these past days, I went craft shopping and discovered what we had around here! I have to confess that I missed the big stores from Brazil where I could have different options of everything!
Even though I did not find everything the way I wanted, I’m happy with how it turned out! I hope it will inspire you to create yours for the holidays!
I used the following material:
- Wreath base made of wicker
- Colored plastic eggs
- Artificial leaves
- Artificial White Flowers
- Dry Branches (can be dry wheat)
- Hot glue
