My first post of the year has been published this weekend at the BPM platform! Once again, it is in portuguese, but a google translator will help you read it and I can assure you that it can help if you intend to move here!
Before coming, as any person moving to another country, we had many questions about everything. Most of the information, not to say almost all of them, we looked up at the internet, but we did not find all the answers we needed. Some where vague, others controversial e some we had to call to Finland’s Consulate in São Paulo or to the Embassy in Brasília!
So, on this month post I share the types os visas that Finland gives, but I explain about the B type that is the one we have here.
Even my husband being a student and me the wife, we have the same resident permit type, which means we have the same B visa. However, there are some differences in between them. What we need to apply is a bit different and the work permit too.
As most of the posts we found on the internet had more information about the process for the student visa, I preferred to focus on cases like mine, which is for family ties! My visa could only be issued, because my husband is the main applicant – for our case as we do not have Finnish family – and through his, they allow me to live here.
In the post I also share the links of everything that is necessary to request the family tie visa and two other posts that can be useful if you are thinking in moving to Finland!
So click here and I hope to help you if you are in the process or willing to come!
