Finland – Fazer’s Experience Visitor Centre
Edited in 19.07.17
Every country has its famous and traditional brands, and in Finland it would not be different. One is Fazer, a well known food business for chocolate and sweets, but also for baking.
Created by Karl Fazer, a Finnish of Swiss descent, he studied in St. Petersburg (Russia) and opened his first shop 125 years ago. The store remains in the same place until today, but the factory was moved to the city of Vantaa, in the Helsinki metropolitan area, as they found that that region had a good tasting water. It is still a family-owned business, with over 15,000 employees around the 8 countries that they own factories. Not to mention that they produce 2.500 kg of chocolate per hour! That’s a lot of chocolate people !!!
Last year they opened the Fazer Experience Visitor Centre in the same place where their three factories in Vantaa are located and we went to visit! And in today’s video, I’ll show you how the tour went! Their stuff is delicious and well worth the visit!
