Finland – Midsummer Festival
Summer has finally come and everyone is celebrating it. In Finland, they have the Juhannus (or Midsummer in English) and is always between the 20th and 26th June. We had the idea of doing a bike trip adventure for the holiday and even do a vlog. It was 88km total riding bike and we visited this beautiful little town called Vihti. In the video, I share more about how they celebrate it and how was our adventure!
The channel already exists for a few months, there are a few videos in English already, but I was not really investing on it until now. However, from now on, I’ll share more videos on Youtube too. Unfortunately, for the moment the videos will be only in Portuguese and I hope I can do both languages soon.
I want to be able to show Finland through our eyes, give tips and share some of our experience here with you as well. In addition, I want to share other things that we already have here on the blog, such as beauty, recipes and trips. I believe that this physical way of communication is very nice too.
With that said, I had to give up the Wednesday’s posts for now. I did a story on Instagram this week explaining (you don’t follow me yet?). Sometimes we need to take a step back, to take two steps forward, right? And it will be until I can get things going and deal with both, blog and Youtube at the same time.
Anyways, whenever I can, we will have extra post on Wednesday’s and for now, we will only have English post’s every Monday! Even if you can’t understand portuguese, you can still check the video and see the beauty of the Finnish countryside. You can also subscribe to the channel and follow me there!
We will have many adventures here in Finland to share with you!
Well, enough talk and press play!
