Helsinki has a big park where people can harvest apples for free. Not anytime, but in a specific day of the year! We got to know about it in the last minute, but still had lot’s of fun trying to pick them from the trees. Apparently it’s something everybody does and people get up early to queue.
As we harvest them, we also had to do something with them. So a second video will come out with a delicious pastry recipe with the apples we got. ♥

Enough talking and let’s get to it! Hope you enjoy!
The park’s name is Malminkartanon Omenatarha and the event takes place every year in September. Each person can take 10 liters home. Unfortunately, we didn’t had that much as they were almost all gone.
For those you who love apples and live in Helsinki area, stay tuned for next year! =)
