I really like the Finnish library system. You can do everything from home, from their app in your phone and you just have to go to the library to pick up or return a book. Indeed, Finns are very-techies and it is awesome. They always try to speed up our life, making an app or a website available!
For today I show how the library app works and how simple it is to borrow a book. Besides having a tea and eating a mustikkapulla that I L-O-V-E! Do you know what pulla is? It’s a delicious sweet bread that you will have to try if you haven’t yet.

Enough talking and let’s get to it! Hope you enjoy!
In Finland the library system is the Helmet. You will find all the books available in any language as they have many different types of books. For the mobile phone, Taskukirjasto is the app you will use. In a free translation, tasku means pocket and kirjasto, library. So it is your pocket library! It can be downloaded on Android, Windows Phone and iOS.
For more information on how the library in general works, how to make your card, if it’s for everyone, I’ve shared it already here. The variety of books available is immense. It’s well worth it to register and enjoy it! =)
How do the libraries work where you live?
